This version of Black Mariah dates back to 1998. Two pairs of travellers met each other for the first time on the second highest road in the world, in the Indian Himalaya. Jules, Simon, Mark and Ren met on this arduous 2 day journey where, once the journey was complete, on the rooftops of Manali hotels this game was born. There have been hints of this game in Africa where Jules and Simon began honing their skills but not until Manali in India did the first vestiges of the Black Mariah League truly begin.
